Margaret Adelaide Forck, 87, of Taos, died Monday, June 18, 2012, at St. Joseph Bluffs. She was born on February 19, 1925, in Taos, the daughter of Vincent Gerhard and Adela Helen Kerperin Eiken. She attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic School and was united in marriage on April 28, 1951, in Taos, to Paul Bernard Forck who preceded her in death on December 7, 1983. Margaret was a homemaker during her married life and worked at her parents grocery, Eiken's Food Store, while she was growing up. She also worked briefly at a phone company before her marriage. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Survivors include: two sons, Bernard Forck, Bucklin, Mo., and Glen (Mary Ellen) Forck, Peoria, Ill.; five daughters, Mary (Roy) Branson, Jefferson City, Jane (Ron) Riddle, Linn Creek, Mo., Agnes Forck, Jefferson City, Sharon Forck, Taos, and Donna (Jerry) Boyd, St. James, Mo.; four grandchildren, Christopher Riddle, Elizabeth (Libby) Boyd, Aaron Forck, and Matthew Forck; two brothers, Joe (Pat) Eiken, Roswell, N.M., and Ed (Mary) Eiken, Taos; four sisters, Frances Eiken, Westphalia, Sister Francisca Eiken, San Antonio, Texas, Kelly Harden, Jefferson City, and Susie Eiken, Taos; one sister-in-law, Clara Eiken, Taos; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alfred Eiken, Silver Eiken, and Matthew Eiken; and two sisters, Mary Winkelman and Sister Adela Eiken. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, June 21, 2012, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos, with the Rev. Wayne Boyer officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
