Keith Street

Keith Wayne Street, 44, of California, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012, at his home in California. He was born on February 10, 1968 in St. Louis, to Lindell and Betty (Talley) Street. He graduated from California High School in 1986. On September 14, 1996, Keith was married to Melissa A. Miller Street at Lebanon Baptist Church in McGirk. For several years, Keith sold insurance for Gibson Insurance in Tipton, and taught conceal and carry permit classes. He was an avid hunter and gun aficionado. In 2009, Keith and Melissa traveled to South Africa for a Safari Hunt to fulfill a lifelong hunting dream. Keith was a member of the Pilot Grove Baptist Church near Latham, and held memberships with the California Shooter's Club and Safari Club International-Central Missouri Chapter. Keith is survived by his wife, Melissa A. Street, and daughter, "Princess" Zoe Isabella Street, of the home; his parents, Lindell and Betty Street of California; one sister, Brenda Hume with her husband "Butch" Lloyd, of California; one brother, Kevin Street with his wife Lela of Latham; in-laws, Gary and Janice Harris of California, and Kenneth Miller of Holts Summit; sister in-laws, Deborah Francis with her husband Anthony, and Julie Oppermann with her husband Andy, all of California; and 14 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Windmill Ridge Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012 at Windmill Ridge Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Barnard officiating. Interment will follow in California City Cemetery.
