Ellie Witmer

Ellie Shpresa Witmer, born May 29, 2012, to John and Katie (Lofton) Witmer of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at the University of Missouri - Columbia Women's and Children's Hospital. Other family members include a twin sister, Aubrey Dashuria Witmer; paternal grandparents, John and Elaine Witmer Sr., of Houstonia, Missouri; maternal grandparents Gary and Lynn Lofton of Jefferson City; paternal great-grandmother, Anita McEachron of Lancaster, Wisconsin; maternal great- grandmother, Lois Kabelitz of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four uncles: Kurt Lofton of Jefferson City, Eric Lofton of Jefferson City, Ron Deere of Pana, Illinois, Thomas Witmer of Sweet Springs; and two aunts, Melinda Andrews of Edgerton, Wisconsin and Jennifer Doherty of Sedalia. Private family services and interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Neo-Natal Unit at the University of Missouri Women's and Children's Hospital for the care of Ellie's twin sister, Aubrey.
