Harry J. Neuner

Harry J. Neuner, age 77, of Linn, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. Harry was born May 28, 1935, in Linn, a son to the late Joseph A. and Mary (Branson) Neuner. Harry was a 1953 graduate of Linn High School and worked as a dairy and turkey farmer all of his life. In April 1995, Harry was united in marriage to Faye Schubel. She survives of the home. Harry was a lifelong area resident and attended St. George Catholic Church in Linn and Salem Hope Presbyterian Church in Hope. He was a past member of the Eagles Club, Knights of Columbus, Mid-America Dairymen Association, and the East Central Angus Association. He enjoyed reading, watching RFD TV, traveling, story and joke telling, visiting with friends and family, and riding his John Deere tractor. In addition to his wife Faye, Harry is survived by: two sons, Darrell G. Neuner and his wife Sherie of Lexington and Mark W. Neuner and his wife Linda of Hermann; five daughters, Elaine C. Hunt and her husband Larry of Linn, Mary Jo Armstrong and her husband Jim of Jefferson City, Janice M. Frank and her husband Charles of Linn, Cindy K. Hoffman and her husband Carl of Linn, and Bonnie J. Kuebler and her husband Kevin of Bloomington, Ill.; two brothers, John Neuner and his wife Karen of Linn and James A. Neuner and his wife Cheryl of Jefferson City; four sisters, Theresa Thomas and her husband Harry of Hazelwood, Dorothy Weislocker and her husband Norman of St. Charles, Marsha Nagel of Jefferson City, and Ruth Elledge of Jefferson City; a sister-in-law, Marie Neuner of Florissant; 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister and one brother, Herbert Neuner. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012, at Morton Chapel in Linn.
