Ruby Marie Jobe

Ruby Marie (Serl) Jobe, 89, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away Thursday afternoon July 19, 2012, at Oak Tree Villa in Jefferson City, Missouri. On September 21, 1922, she was born in Decatur, Missouri, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Mettie Lee (Hader) Serl. On December 28, 1940, she was married in Eldon, Missouri, to Paul I. Jobe who preceded her in death on August 13, 2003. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Jim Allison of Jefferson City, Mo.; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Kathleen Jobe of Russellville, Mo., David and Martha Jobe of Jefferson City, Mo.; five grandchildren: Darin and Jessica Jobe, Denise and Aaron Gillam, Jim Bob and Brandi Allison, Greg and Paula Allison, Kristie and Dan Kempker; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, two brothers, and two sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of the Mt. Herman Baptist Church in Olean, Mo. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. on Saturday July 21, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Missouri with Funeral Service beginning at 2:30 p.m. with Bro. Ken Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Allen Cemetery in Olean, Mo. Memorials are suggested to the Allen Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
