Marion F. Ihler, age 91 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at her home. She was born on May 9, 1921, in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of the late Aubrey "Bobby" Robertson and Mildred Anne Affolter Robertson Langerhans. She was married on September 20, 1945, to Victor W. Ihler, who preceded her in death on November 7, 2009. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Marion graduated from Jefferson City High School. Marion started her career with the Capital City Telephone Company in 1939 and continued with United Telephone Company until her retirement in 1977. She was a lifetime member of Central United Church of Christ. Survivors include: one son, David Ihler and his wife Joy of Weldon Spring, Mo.; one daughter, Rebecca Dunn and her husband Bill of Jefferson City, Mo.; five grandchildren, Amy (Ihler) Koester of Lake St. Louis, Mo., Jeremy Ihler and his wife Laura (Pleasant) of St. Charles, Mo., Melissa (Dunn) McGinnis and her husband David of St. Louis, Mo., Bryan Dunn and his wife Missy (Thoenen) of Jefferson City, Mo. and Matthew Dunn of St. Louis, Mo.; one granddaughter-in-law, Jessie (Ihler) Schaumberger and her husband Joe and son Brody of St. Louis, Mo.; six great-grandchildren, Tyler Koester, William Koester, Jordan Ihler, Morgan Ihler, Madison Ihler, and Hunter McGinnis. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Vic; one grandson, Nathan Ihler; and two sisters, Bernice Wheeler and Phyllis Coker. Visitation will be held at Central United Church of Christ from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2012, at Central United Church of Christ with the Reverend Dr. Stephen Buchholz officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Central United Church of Christ Capital Improvement Fund, 118 W. Ashley St., Jefferson City, MO 65101; Relay for Life ETC, a breast cancer support group, c/o Rosie Verslues, P.O.
