Robert R. Morre

Robert "Bob" R. Morre, 63, of Chamois, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012, at St. Mary's Health Center after a long battle of sickness. He was born July 31, 1948, in Hermann, Missouri, the son of Elton and Margaret Morre. His mother survives at her home. On June 5, 1971, he was united in marriage to Barbara Klick, who survives at the home. Bob attended Osage County R-1 School in Chamois. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals including the Purple Heart. He worked most of his life in construction and brick laying. Bob loved hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with his family. Along with his wife, Barb, and mother, Margaret, he is survived by one son: Robbie Morre, wife Tammy, of Linn; two grandchildren: Nathanial and Natalie, and one sister: Charlotte Schnauss of Chamois. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 20, 2012, at the Millard Family Funeral Chapel - Chamois. American Legion Service will full military honors will follow. Interment will be private for the family at Deer Creek Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Robert Morre Grandchildren's Educational Fund.
