Randell "Randy" Kent Wheeler, 56, of Jefferson City, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at his home. Randy was born in Carrollton, Missouri on August 4, 1955, to Billy Joe Wheeler and Caroll Anne (Sprinkle) Wheeler who preceded him in death. He was married to Patricia (Kidd) Wheeler and she survives. Randy served five years in the US Army and five years in the Missouri Army National Guard. Randy enjoyed singing karaoke, especially songs by Elvis Presley. He loved life and loved God with all his heart. He was talented in carpentry and enjoyed working on his car, a 2000 Grand Prix Supercharger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and will never be forgotten by his numerous friends and family. Randy is survived by his father, Billy Joe Wheeler; one sister, Rhonda Jones; one brother-in-law, David Jones; and son and daughter, Carol and Randell; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his. wife Patricia Wheeler and step-children. Sarah Ray and Joseph Spears. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, at Carroll Memorial Gardens in Carrollton, Missouri. Contributions are suggested to the family.
