Beulah Watt

Beulah Ruth Watt, 77, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Adam Street Place. She was born November 29, 1934, in Cole Junction, the daughter of the late James and Daisy Duncan Kelly. On May 25, 1964, she was united in marriage in Jefferson City to Earl A. Watt, who preceded her in death. Beulah was a 1954 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She attended Lincoln University where she received her nursing degree. She was employed in nursing homes in California, North Carolina, Connecticut and Missouri. She loved getting to travel all over the world as a military wife. She was a member of the Church of God in Christ and was active in her church all her life. She is survived by one daughter: Sherry Watt of North Liberty, Iowa; one brother: Harold Kelly of Jefferson City; four grandchildren: Brandy Watt Hardy (Deric), Clyde Snow III, India Snow-Watt and Guy Snow; and a great- grandchild: Cameron Myles Hardy; nephews: Edward Johnson, Joe McKenzie and Harold Ray Kelly; and nieces: Sue Ann Kelly, Jackie Chism, Jannette Booker and Doris Weddle. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Kelly Watt-Snow; two brothers: Arthur and James Jr.; and six sisters: Augusta, Verlee, Alma, Mable, Ruby and Pauline. Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2012, at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with Rev. Gregory Reeves officiating. Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
