David Coplin Sr.

David Allin Coplin Sr., age 55, of California, formerly of Russellville, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012, at the California Care Center in California. He was born January 19, 1956, in St. Louis, the son of Hoyt Herbert and Dorothy H. Cooper Coplin, both of whom preceded him in death. David would be the first to volunteer his time to help anyone, but what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed. Survivors include: one son, David Allin Coplin Jr. with his wife Tammy of Russellville; one daughter, Jessica Blankis with her husband Matthew of Pacific; five grandchildren, Kelsey, Colby, Emily, Ashley and Liam; one brother, Harry Coplin with his wife Donna of Rolla; and one sister, Louise Dodd of Edwardsville, Ill. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Janurary 17, 2012, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. at the Weber Funeral Home in Russellville, with Bro. Jeremy Caudel officiating. Burial will be in the Enloe cemetery in Russellville. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
