Ralph Ryerson

Ralph Richard Ryerson, 67, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia. He was born May 22, 1944, in Vienna, Mo., the son of the late Oscar Earl Ryerson and May Ann (Cannady) Ryerson. On July 19, 1996, he was united in marriage to Mollie (Zediker) Ryerson, who survives his passing. Ralph was a member of the Harvest Time Ministries Church in Holts Summit. He enjoyed dancing, singing, and playing his guitar and banjo to country gospel music. He recorded one album and two CDs and performed at church, funerals, and Timberline Stables. He was retired from FRDC and worked at Dollar General in security. In addition to his wife, Ralph will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Edward Ryerson and wife, Julie, of Fulton, and Ralph Richard Ryerson II and wife, Joyce, of Versailles, Mo.; three daughters, Tina White of Holts Summit, Leasa Weghorst and husband, John, of Holts Summit, and Cheri Gehlert and husband, Richard, of Belle, Mo.; two step-sons, Robert Knight and wife, Sarah, of Fulton, and Patrick Knight of Louisville, Ky.; one brother, Norman Ryerson and wife, Bonnie, of Duke, Mo.; one sister, Doris Brumett of Olathe, Kan.; 15 grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Ryerson; and two sisters, Ethel Price and Earlene Ryerson. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2012, at Harvest Time Ministry Church in Holts Summit with Reverend Chuck Norris officiating.
