Pamela Jean Freet, 59, of Holts Summit, Mo., died Friday, February 24, 2012, at her residence. She was born on January 25, 1953, in Elkhart, Ind., the daughter of Orval Lee Ellsworth Sr., and Beverly Jean Zook Ellsworth. She was married on November 9, 1974, in Elkhart to Frederick Francis Freet Sr., who survives at the home. Mrs. Freet was employed for 28 years with the former Holiday Inn in Jefferson City, later with the Hampton Inn for two years, and most recently as an order clerk with Scholastic, Inc. for four years. She enjoyed knitting, computer games, and animals, but her greatest love was for her family. Other survivors include her mother, Beverly J. Baer, Knoxville, Tenn.; five children, Michael L. (Missy) Ellsworth, Mexico, Mo.; Pamela J. (Spencer) Barnard, New Bloomfield, Mo.; Frederick F. Freet Jr., and his wife, Dlorah Burgeson, Centralia, Mo.; Alicia M. (Aaron) Moeller, Holts Summit, Mo.; and Angela A. Freet, Clarksville, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; two sisters, Jennie (Nick) Canen and Debra Hobbs, both of Elkhart, Ind.; and four brothers, Terry (Cassandra) Ellsworth and Orval (Sandra) Ellsworth Jr., all of Elkhart, Ind.; Gary (Linda) Ellsworth, Knoxville, Tenn.; and Andy (Chio) Ellsworth, El Paso, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Lucky Ellsworth. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2012, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. A private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Pamela Freet Memorial Fund. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
