Ann Winkelhake

Ann Patricia Winkelhake, 72, of Vienna, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012, at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics. She was born on February 22, 1939, in St. Paul, Minnesota, a daughter of the late Harold Agustus and Margaret Gertrude (Beutel) Ruby, who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on February 1972, in Schaumburg, Illinois to Ronald Winkelhake, who preceded her in death on January 12, 1998. She is a graduate of North High School in Des Moines, Iowa and attended William Rainey College in Palatine, Illinois. She was previously employed with Scholastic's, Truman Hotel and Indian Lakes Resort. She was a member and past treasurer and secretary of Mended Hearts at St. Mary's Hospital. She was also a member of the Nuture Committee for VUMC, volunteered many hours at St. Mary's Hospital, and a past member of the St. Mary's Auxiliary. She is survived by her one son: Patrick Carl Wilkinson and his wife Denise of Vienna; one daughter: Bobbi Jo Wilkinson of Corpus Christi, Texas; six brothers: John F. Ruby of Bloomington, Illinois, Paul Ruby and wife Stephanie of Monroe, Georgia, David Ruby and his wife Shirley of Mankato, Minnesota, Mike Ruby and wife Debbie of Good Hope, Georgia, Bernie Ruby and his wife Bonnie of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Tom Ruby and wife Carol of Fond Due Lac, Wisconsin; two sisters: Jane Boyce of Des Moines, Iowa and Margaret G. Stinn and her husband Dennis of Fort Collins, Colorado; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by one son: William Thomas Wilkinson, one daughter: Tammy Marie Wilkinson; and one sister: Mary Kuster. Friends will be received from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2012, at Vienna United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Vienna United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Hargraves officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Riverview Cemetery.
