Sharon Corbett Wilson, 62, of Lathrop, Mo., passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Smithville, Mo. Sharon was born December 3, 1950 in St. Louis, Mo., to Edward D. and Harriette C. Corbett. Sharon met and later married Donald Van Wilson on July 27, 1968. They raised two daughters, Kelly Anne Evans of Lathrop, and Kimberly Von Copeland of Chesapeake, Va. Sharon worked as a make-up artist for Estee Lauder for almost 20 years. She was a member of Northern Hills Baptist Church in Holt, Mo., and loved to garden, play dominos, sing in the church choir, go for pedicures, and spend time with her family and friends. Along with her daughters, Sharon will be missed by her brothers, Timothy (Sally) Corbett, Terrence Corbett, Edward Corbett, Patrick (Janice) Corbett; sister, Kathleen (Ernie) Caylor; three grandchildren, Kristen Elaine Evans, Corbett Richard Evans and Karly Anne Evans; sons-in-law, Craig Evans and Malcolm Copeland; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Eileen C. Cook. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service celebrating Sharon's life at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Northern Hills Baptist Church, Holt, Mo.
