Edith Pauline (Dye) Duncan, 85, of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at The Bluffs. She was born August 21, 1927, in Callaway County, the daughter of the late Robert "Coot" Dye and the late Eva (Myers) Dye. In 1949, Pauline was united in marriage to E.L. "Bud" Duncan, who preceded her in death on September 26, 1996. Pauline graduated from Fulton High School in 1945. She also attended and graduated from Missouri Baptist School of Nursing in St. Louis. Pauline will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Marilyn Buck and husband, John, of Liberty; one son, Rob Duncan of Columbia; one grandson, Brian Oetting Sr.; seven great-grandchildren, Brian Oetting Jr., Stephen Oetting, Sarah Oetting, Drake Oetting, Deleana Oetting, Zac Wainescott, and Brandy Wadtananussorn; and one great-great-granddaughter. In addition to her parents and her husband, Pauline was preceded in death by one grandson, Bradley Oetting; and one brother, Marvin Dye. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Randall Germann officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. at Maupin Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
