Howard Windell Price Jr., 53, of Jefferson City died Sunday, December 9, 2012, at his home. He was born November 8, 1959, in Martinsville, Indiana, the son of Howard Windell and Nancy Jane (Burns) Price. He attended Penn State University, where he was trained as a fire protection sprinkler fitter. Howard was a sprinkler fitter with Local 669 until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include three children: Brandon Price and wife Rachael of Jefferson City, Joseph Price and wife Lisa of Jefferson City, Jackie Price of California; eight grandchildren: Hayden Price, Abby Price, Payne Price, Liam Price, Adriana Miller, Lauren Patten, Jenna Patten, Makenzie "Honey" Eldridge; and one sister, Susan Duncan of Kansas City. Friends will be received from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Private family interment will be held.
