Margaret Louise Weed

Margaret Louise Weed, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center in Jefferson City, two days prior to her birthday. Margaret was born in Mary's Home, the daughter of the late John Wesley and Jennie (Holzer) Clarkston. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary's Home. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Louise and Al Kladiva of Jefferson City, Martha Elizabeth and Kenny Fisher of Russellville; sons and daughters-in-law, David Robert and Katie Weed of Jefferson City, Michael Charles and Loretta Weed of Jefferson City, Martin Garrett Weed of Annapolis, Timothy Francis Weed of Eldon; 14 grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren; brothers, William, Lawrence, James, Wilburn, Charlie and Darrell Clarkston; and sisters, Ruthie Clarkston, Cheryl Clarkston and Mary Jane Doerhoff. Her parents, one sister, Evelyn Thoenen, and her inlaws, Helena and Dennis Weed preceded her in death. Private family visitation will be Saturday, December 1, 2012, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Mary's Home. Private family graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery in Mary's Home. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon.
