Maxine (Schenewerk) Siebert

Maxine (Schenewerk) Siebert, 92, of California, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at St. Mary's Health Center surrounded by her family. She was born July 30, 1920, in California, the daughter of Henry J. and Amanda L. Allee Schenewerk, both of whom preceded her in death. Maxine was united in marriage December 23, 1939, in California, to Jack Siebert, who preceded her in death in February 1987. Maxine was a long-time member of Lebanon Baptist Church, where she enjoyed caring for the children in the nursery. She treasured the time spent with her family. Maxine is survived by a daughter: Betty Browner of Russellville; a son: Jack Siebert (Julie K. Asher) of California; two sisters: Helen Burger of Nebraska and Gladys Felling of Minnesota; five grandchildren: Keith Browner of Russellville, Kevin (Claudia) Browner of Jefferson City, Kim (Jamie) Wineland of Lohman, Brian (Debi) Siebert and Brent (Valerie) Siebert. all of California. She has 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandsons. Maxine was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law: Rose Siebert; son-in-law: Donald Browner; granddaughter: Darla Browner; sisters: Jane Imhoff, Hazel Kay, Bonnie Borghardt, June Gerlach, Norma Gier and Dorothy Foster. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at Windmill Ridge Funeral Service in California. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ken Mathes officiating with interment following in the California Masonic Cemetery.
