Evelyn Ann Frasher, 85, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, August 16, 2012, at her home. She was born July 4, 1927, in Cole County, the daughter of Louis and Susanna Marie (Wekenborg) Dulle. She attended St. Peter Catholic School and was a graduate of St. Peter Catholic High School in Jefferson City. On October 1, 1946, Evelyn was united in marriage to William F. Heckerman Jr., who preceded her in death on August 12, 1982. On September 27, 1986, she was united in marriage to James M. Frasher, who preceded her in death on December 6, 2010. Evelyn worked for Charles E. Still Hospital and for the State of Missouri, Departments of Agriculture and Insurance until her retirement. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Evelyn enjoyed playing cards, working jigsaw and crossword puzzles, reading and traveling. She is survived by two daughters: Tena Louise Smith and husband Richard Allen Smith of Jefferson City, Lauri Ann Sanders and husband Tommy Edwin Sanders of Dothan, Alabama; one brother, Lloyd Louis Dulle and wife Patricia Ann Dulle of Jefferson City; five grandchildren: Ryan William Smith of Enfield, Connecticut, Kyle Allen Smith of Enfield, Connecticut, Eric Joseph Smith of Jefferson City, Clinton Michael Robinson of Omaha, Nebraska, Connor Brandt Robinson of Dothan, Alabama; one step-daughter, Jane Marbaker and husband Bill of Jefferson City; one step-son, James Frasher Jr. and wife Ramona of Melbourne Beach, Florida; two step-grandchildren, Erin Marbaker and Andrew Marbaker; two nieces, Cheryl DeShon and Keverne McCollum; and one nephew, Kevin Dulle. In addition to her parents and two husbands, Evelyn was preceded in death by three sons: Joseph William Heckerman, Daryl Wayne Heckerman, Michael Frederick Heckerman; and one brother, Chester Louis Dulle. Friends will be received from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 20, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Russ Bowder officiating.
