Neville Elizabeth Winebrenner

Neville Elizabeth Winebrenner, age 88, of California, died Thursday, August 16, 2012, at the Moniteau Care Center in California, where she had resided for a little more than a year. She was born May 25, 1924, in the Corticelli community, a daughter of Lucian Grey and Sadie Gertrude Enloe Howlett. On August 5, 1943, Neville was united in marriage to Wilbert Ray Winebrenner, who preceded her in death October 1, 1995. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who stayed busy caring for her daughter, her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's activities as long as her health allowed. While living in Eldon, she was known as the after-school-grandma, because her home was always open for her grandchildren and their friends to drop in, grab a snack or just visit. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in California. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Keith Renken of Russellville; one sister, Cleo Fahrni of California; a sister-in-law, Norma Howlett of Oak Grove; two granddaughters, Toni Randall and husband Steve of Russellville and Melanie Jones of Kansas City; five great-grandchildren, Blake, Shane and Quinn Randall and Colby and Georgia Whiteside; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Wyman Howlett, and a sister, Ina Mae Golas. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 18, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville with the family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Rev. David Howlett will officiate. Interment will be in the Enloe Cemetery west of Russellville. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Show-Me Christian Youth Home P.O.
