Bruce Alan Enloe, age 60, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at his parents home. He was born March 17, 1952, in Kirksville, Mo. the son of Dr. Marvin and Jane (Bassman) Enloe. Bruce was a 1970 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a 1974 graduate of The University of Missouri ñ Rolla with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Bruce spent his career as an engineer with Texas Instruments, MD Anderson Cancer Research Hospital and at the time of his death at Booz Allen Hamilton, San Antonio, Texas He is survived by his parents: Marvin and Jane Enloe, O Fallon, Mo.; son: Brent Enloe (Monique), San Antonio, Texas; daughter: Bethany Enloe, Houston, Texas ; brother: Michael Enloe (Pixie David), St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands; sister: Lana Enloe Widner (Jim), O Fallon, Mo.; brother: Pat Enloe (Amy Gravatt), Flower Mound, Texas; nephews: Lance Widner (Stephanie), David Enloe, Max Enloe; nieces: Jamie Widner Perrin (Jason), Rachel Enloe; and great-nephew: James Christopher Perrin. He faced his brief illness as he lived his life, courageously and with grace. A memorial service will be held at the Enloe Cemetery, Russellville, Mo. on Saturday, May 12, at 2:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or to the American Diabetes Association at donations.Diabetes.org
