Kathryn "Kitty" Sue Berry, 65, of Centertown died Monday, April 23, 2012, at her home. She was born July 31, 1946, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Frank G. and Zona Faye (Coots) Haulenbeek Sr. Kitty worked as a book binder for Von Hoffman Press until her health forced her retirement. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, loved to visit the casinos and go on special trips with family and friends. Survivors include her spouse of 30 years, Daniel J. Morff of the home; two children: Kenneth (Christina) Surface of Jefferson City, Tammy (Rick) Pearon of Jefferson City; a daughter-in-law, Renae (Russell) Woodberry of Eugene; four stepsons: Timothy (Charlene) Morff of Brazito, Dennis (Penny) Morff of the state of Texas, Steven (Pamela) Morff of St. Louis, Jason (Julie) Morff of Jefferson City; five siblings: Judy Blank of Holts Summit, Emma Lynn (Donnie) Cazzell of Eugene, Timmy (Rena) Haulenbeek of Jefferson City, Charles "Tappy" (Tiffany) Haulenbeek of Centertown, Janice Smallwood of Jefferson City; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Faye Haulenbeek; one son, Craig Russell on July 7, 1999; two sisters, Sandy Backes and Joyce Gardner; and one brother, Gilbert Haulenbeek. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and special friends. Friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Nilges officiating. Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
