Lena Stull

Lena Louvita (Burnham) Stull, 84, formerly of Mexico, Mo., passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Lake Regional Hospital. She has resided at Lakeside Meadows, Osage Beach, Mo. for the last two years. She was born June 9, 1927, to Oscar and Beulah( Baker) Burnham at Ethel, Mo. Lena graduated from Ethel High School, Ethel, Mo., in 1945. On July 5, 1947, she married Virgil Leon Stull. They were married 62 years and were long-time residents of Mexico, Mo. She was a full-time homemaker and a part-time cook in the Mexico School system. She enjoyed bird watching and had a great passion for her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Lena loved her Lord and her church. She was a member of Centennial Baptist Church for more than 50 years. Lena and Virgil's sons and their families include David and his wife Wanda, of Jefferson City, Mo. Their children are Aaron and Tiffany Stull and children, Anna, Hallie, and Samuel of Centennial, Colorado; and Chuck and Lori Stull of Crocker, Mo. Kavan L. and his wife, Lynne, live in Oronogo, Mo. Their children are Rebecca of the home; Ashley of Joplin, Mo.; Stephen of Pittsburg, Kan.; Andrew and Dawn Stull and children Gabrielle, Emily, Joshua, and Connor of Lawrence, Kan. Ivan L. and his wife, Georgia, live in Harrisonville, Mo. Their children are Dustin and Cara Stull and daughter, Ellie of Springfield, Mo.; Jeremy and Catherine Stull of Manchester, England; Travis Stull of Kansas City, Mo.; and Casey Stull of Norman, Okla. Robin L. and his wife, Teresa, live in Jefferson City, Mo. Their children are Clint and Danica Stull of Roeland Park, Kan.; Jordan Stull of Kansas City, Mo.; and Lexie Stull of the home. She also leaves behind brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Stull of Macon, Mo.; Junior and Verla Ford of New Cambria, Mo., and Faye Burnham of St. Louis, Mo. Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; her daughter, Jynell Louise; her parents, Oscar and Beulah; brothers Otis and Finus Burnham; and one sister, Eudema Burnham Smith. She leaves behind four sons, 13 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Centennial Baptist Church in Mexico. Burial will follow at the MO Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Mo. Visitation is Friday morning from 10 - 11 at the church. Memorials may be made to Centennial Baptist Church, Mexico, Mo.
