Angeline A. Forck, 88, of Taos, died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Adams Street Place, surrounded by her family. She was born May 28, 1923, in Cole County, the daughter of Clem and Carrie (Henke) Schnieders. She attended St. Francis Xavier School at Taos. On June 30, 1943, Angeline was united in marriage in Jefferson City to Norbert H. Forck, who preceded her in death on March 23, 1991. She was a homemaker and member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Angeline enjoyed dancing in her younger years, quilting, embroidery, cooking and collecting angels. She was an avid bingo player and sang in the Adams Street Angel Choir. Angeline is survived by seven sons: John C. Forck of Jefferson City, Tom N. "Duke" Forck and wife Jane of Ashland, Larry J. Forck and wife Joanie of Jefferson City, Edward H. Forck and wife Connie of Ashland, Bernard F. "Bernie" Forck and wife Marian of Chamois, Walter M. "Toad" Forck and wife Cindy of Taos, Steve J. Forck of New Bloomfield and wife Barbara of Fulton; two daughters: Rosemary McKinnon of Taos, Ruth Ann Singer and husband Jim of Taos; one brother, Richard L. Schnieders and wife Irene of Jefferson City; one son-in-law, Mike Haynes of Independence; 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Martha M. Haynes; and one son-in-law, Otis McKinnon. Friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Taos Knights of Columbus Hall, where a prayer service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Fr. Wayne M. Boyer officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice Compassus.
