Bonita Walls

Bonita "Bonnie" M. Walls, 83, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born September 10, 1928, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the only child of the late Roy and Grace (Roe) Walls. Bonnie worked for Hardee's Restaurant from 1977, until her retirement on May 25, 1993. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Bonnie loved to read and loved to listen to music, but working and cleaning were her favorite things to do. She is survived by a granddaughter: Sharry Russell (husband Donnie) of Jefferson City; two grandsons: Jason Walls and Jessie Osborn of Jefferson City; and one great-granddaughter: Leeanna Walls of Holts Summit. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son: Raymond Leon Walls. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with Rev. Dave Williford officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
