The Reverend Sheila J. Allred, age 80 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Friday, March 30, 2012, at her home. Sheila was born November 27, 1931, in Calcutta, India, the daughter of Albert and Antoinette Reynaudet Cashmore. She was married on November 25, 1954, to Matthew Johnston Clements, who preceded her in death on November 20, 1972. On September 22, 1974, she married J. Paul Allred, who preceded her in death on June 20, 1994. A resident of the Jefferson City area since1974, Sheila became an ordained minister on November 9, 1984. She served as Pastor of the New Life Ministries of Jefferson City since 1984. Sheila was an active member of the Monday Morning Ladies Bible Study at Capital City Christian Church. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed knitting and crocheting, but most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include: two daughters, Beverly J. Bova and her husband Nick of Cumming, Ga., and Debbie M. Sartain of Jefferson City, Mo.; one son, Alan N. Clements and his wife Irene of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Beryl McCormick of Belfast, Northern Ireland; six grandchildren, Tracy Bova, Lynsey Sartain, Greg Bova, Brittney Clements, Matt Sartain and Jonathan Clements; and one great-grandchild, Aaron Ferrell. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; one son, Keith Clements; and two sisters, Violet Cashmore and Jessica Hall. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2012, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Don Fankhauser and the Reverend Troy Easley officiating. Interment will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Assn.
