Wanda Hilgedick

Wanda Grace Hilgedick, age 70 years, of Hartsburg, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011, at her home. Wanda was born February 9, 1941, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Delmar and Alpha Miller Scott. She married Wayne Hilgedick on August 1, 1964, in Jefferson City, and he survives. She was a homemaker and a farmer all of her life. Wanda was a member of Peace United Church of Christ and the American Legion Auxilliary Post #424 in Hartsburg. Survivors include: her husband, Wayne; two sons, Terry Hilgedick and wife Kristie, Ricky Hilgedick and wife Donna, all of Hartsburg; two sisters, Marie Colvin and husband Jerry of Jefferson City and Carol Bossallar of Lincoln, Neb.; and three grandchildren, Ethan, Tyler and Oscar. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Peace United Church of Christ in Hartsburg. Burial will follow in Friedens Cemetery. Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, September 27, from 4-6 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society in care of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland.
