Kennard Autenrieth

Mr. Kennard D. Autenrieth, age 75 years, of Tebbetts, Mo., died Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at Heisinger Bluffs. Kennard was born September 25, 1935, in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of Alfred E. and Viola C. "Carrie" Howard Autenrieth. He was married on May 14, 1956, in Mokane, Mo. to Maxie Stafford. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Kennard was a 1953 graduate of Mokane High School. Kennard was a farmer on his farm near Tebbetts, Mo. for 54 years until his retirement in 2007. He was a member of the Tebbetts United Methodist Church; a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, Chapter 596 in Tebbetts; and was a past president of the Tebbetts Riverview Cemetery Board of Directors. Kennard enjoyed farming and trapping, playing cards, especially pitch and most importantly, spending time with his family. Survivors include: his wife of 55 years, Maxie Autenrieth; one son, Kevin Autenrieth and his wife LeighAnn of Tebbetts, Mo.; one daughter, Kelli Stiles and her husband Phil of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Lena Mae Stock and her husband Calvin of Tebbetts, Mo.; six grandchildren, Karissa Autenrieth, Trey Walz, Andrew Stiles, Levi Autenrieth, Zachary Stiles, and Gage Autenrieth; and one great-grandchild, Kellen Autenrieth; and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael D. Autenrieth in 1957; one sister, Mary Laverne Johnston in 1992; and one brother, Alfred W. "Sonny" Autenrieth in 2000. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon Friday, September 23, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Friday, September 23, 2011, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Larry Sapp officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at Riverview Cemetery near Tebbetts, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Tebbetts Riverview Cemetery Assn.
