Kevan Zalken (Veteran)

Kevan Louis Zalken, 53, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011, at his home. He was born in Dixon, Illinois, and raised in Jefferson City. He graduated from Jefferson High School and spent two years in the Army. He was employed with ZBM, Inc. from 1977 to 1997 as a computer specialist and service manger. He went to New Zealand for three years to help install a computer system for the government, and then returned to Dallas where he operated his own business. He is survived by his life partner, Cynthia Omar; one daughter, Hannah; one son, Benjamin Ritter; and his father, Byron Zalken and wife Patricia of Jefferson City. A private memorial service will be held at Lewisville Lake in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, September 24, 2011. Condolences may be sent to 9930 Buckingham Rd., #404 Dallas, TX 75243.
