Edna Mae Lucille (Carter) Kemp, 81, of Tebbetts, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at Capital Regional Medical Center. She was born on December 6, 1929, in Mexico, Missouri, the daughter of the late Lindell Hue Carter and Bertha Mae (Spencer) Carter. On December 6, 1948, she was united in marriage to George A. Kemp, they were married for 51 years. He preceded her in death on November 13, 1999. Edna was a member of Barkersville Christian Church and attended Tebbetts United Methodist. She was a member of the Barkersville Quilting Club and the Tebbetts Extension Club. Edna loved quilting, crocheting, and spoiling her grandchildren. Edna will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four daughters, Andera Kay Teseniar and husband, Thomas, of Kelso, Washington, Jeanie McCain and husband, Rusty, of Seabrook, Texas, Kathy A. Brown and husband, Chad, of Tebbetts, Missouri and Jeanette L. Ford and husband, Craig, of Tebbetts, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Krista K. Burre, Kody W. Roberts, Holly O'Neal, Nick Helzer, Drew O. and Tanner A. Brown, and Lindsey Freet; and seven great-grandchildren, Abigail and Benjamin O'Neal, Kyle, Trent, and Trevor Ford, Katie Freet, and Kinnley G. Roberts. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Maupin Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Bull Cemetery in Holts Summit, Missouri.
