Sara Giboney

Sara Jean Giboney, 31, of Jefferson City, died Friday, August 26, 2011. She was born July 15, 1980, in Columbia, a daughter of Teddy Joe and Cheryl (Brondel) Giboney. She attended Jamestown schools and Jefferson City High School. Sara was a shift manager at Sonic #1 on Highway 179 in Jefferson City. She enjoyed going to the river and camping. Sara loved to laugh and spend time with her friends and family, especially her niece, Alaeya. She will be dearly missed. Sara is survived by her mother, Cheryl Giboney of Blue Springs; one brother, Kyle Joseph Giboney of Jefferson City; one sister, Katie Jo Giboney of Grain Valley; maternal grandmother, Patricia Brondel of St. Martins; six aunts, Brenda Giboney of Jefferson City, Barb Oetting (Bill) of Holts Summit, Virginia Lahmeyer of Jefferson City, Cindy Iman (Dick) of Kansas City; Stacy Brondel of St. Martins, Renee Brondel of St. Martins; one uncle, Mike Giboney (Sharon) of Hartsburg; and cousins, Dana Goodson of Columbia, Chris and Sam Giboney of Columbia, Keith and Teresa Lahmeyer of Jefferson City, Glen Lahmeyer of Jefferson City, Josh Brondel of St. Martins and Michael Brondel of Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her father, Teddy Joe Giboney. Friends will be received from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2011, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Mt.
