Helen Marie Wilt, 74, of Fulton, passed away Saturday, October, 15, 2011, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, from complications with Alzheimer's. She was born May 10, 1937, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late John William Klopstein and Helen Josephine (Jenkins) Klopstein. She married Edward Harry Wilt and he preceded her in death in 1993. Helen was a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church for many years. She was a registered nurse for the Callaway County Health Department. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Edward G. Wilt of Potosi, and Ted T. Wilt (Carolyn Sue Roe) of Jefferson City; one grandchild, Edward Shane Wilt of St. Louis; two brothers, Joe Klopstein and wife Debbie of Moscow Mills, and Art Klopstein and wife Kathy of New Melle; one sister, Betty Kramer and husband Denis of St. Peters; two sisters-in- law, Jo Dean Klopstein and Robin Klopstein. In addition to her husband and parents, Helen was preceded in death by two brothers, John Klopstein and James Klopstein. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Interment will be held at the Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton.
