Donnie Joseph Hale, 49, of Oceanside, California, passed away, Thursday, October 6, 2011, at his home, after a long battle with cancer. Donnie was born fifth of seven siblings. He was born and in Jefferson City and graduated from Jefferson City High School. He was raised in an Army Family. Donnie retired after 23 years of service in the United States Navy. His final award was receiving of a meritorious medal of honor. Donnie will be remembered for his bright smile, green eyes, kind heart, teaching spirit. Donnie was an admirable gentleman and his early passing is truly a loss to humanity. Donnie is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Georgiana Hale; son, Daniel and wife Jalyna, grandchildren Bella, Taylor, and Liam; son, Timothy; son, Josiah and wife Brittany, grandchildren Ezekiel and Amelia, all of St. Augustine, Fla.; his father, Muriel of Alabama; mother; Wilma Mueller, Jefferson City; siblings, Dale, Larry, Angela, and Victoria of Missouri; sister, Barbara of Tennessee, and uncle, Walter of California. Services and Military Honors will be held at noon Friday, October 21, 2011, at the Marine Memorial Chapel, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
