Helen Wieberg

Mrs. Helen K. Wieberg, age 85 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville, Ill. Helen was born on June 25, 1926 in Jefferson City, Mo., a daughter of William L. and Otellia Weith Brenner. She was married on October 25, 1952, in Jefferson City, Mo., to Wilbert J. Wieberg, who preceded her in death on December 20, 1965. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Helen was employed for 45 years with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources retiring in June 1994 as a clerk in their public drinking water program. She was a past member of Immaculate Conception Church. Helen was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan; but most importantly, she always loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and keeping up with friends. Survivors include: two sons, Michael A. Wieberg and his wife Cindy of Linn, Mo. and Mark J. Wieberg and his wife Mariam Sutton of Jerseyville, Ill.; one sister, Della Chapman of Jefferson City, Mo.; her son-in-law; Jerry Randolph of Meta, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Anthony Wieberg, Kami Wieberg, Edward Wieberg, Melissa Rosemann, Heather Rosemann, Bethany Wieberg, and Amanda Wieberg; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wilbert J. Wieberg; her daughter, Wilberta C. Randolph on September 1, 2011; two sisters, Opal Bandelier and Rita Schneider; and one brother, Claude Brenner. Visitation will be held at Freeman Mortuary from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011. Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend I.C. Medina officiating.
