Mark Christian Edwards, age 32, of Boca Raton, Fla., passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011. Mark was born February 12, 1979, and grew up in Chamois. He was a 1997 graduate of Osage R-1 in Chamois where he played basketball and ran track. After high school, Mark attended Linn State Technical College were he received a degree in Commercial Turf and Grounds, Golf Course Management. After completing an internship in Tulsa, Okla., Mark moved to Boca Raton, Fla., where he lived and worked at Boca Rio Golf Club for 12 years. Mark was married on April 25, 2008, in Boca Raton, Fla. Mark loved the outdoors whether it be working, playing, or saying goodnight to the moon with his sons. He lived life to its fullest and cherished every minute with his family, which is the only thing he ever wanted. He had an infectious smile and a charm that could melt hearts. He was a dad, husband, son, brother, uncle, son-in-law, and friend, and always will be. To know him was to love him. Mark is survived by his wife, Marci Kozinn Edwards and two sons, CJ Edwards, age three, and Trent Edwards, age two, of Boca Raton, Fla.; his parents, Mike and Marlene Edwards of Chamois; eldest brother, Michael Edwards and nephew, Gavin, of Jefferson City; and youngest brother, Marty Edwards and wife Rebecca of Columbia. Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ray and Verna Edwards of Chamois, and maternal grandparents, Maxine and Paul Hegerfeld of California. Mark was laid to rest on November 20 at West Palm Beach Memorial Park in Lantana, Fla. He was surrounded by family, friends, and palm trees blowing in the breeze. He is forever in our hearts.
