Rebecca Burson

Rebecca M. Burson, age 34, of St. James, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born March 15, 1977, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Francis W. Burson and Joann Rosenberg, both of whom survive. She was a graduate of Blair Oaks High School in Wardsville. Rebecca worked as a receptionist for the Phelps County Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed to crochet, but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. She will be sadly missed. Survivors include: Her mother, Joann Rosenberg of Jefferson City; one daughter, Samantha Murray of Jefferson City; two sisters, Eva McDorman of Kansas City and Jessica Burson of Jefferson City; step- father, Daniel Rader, and two half-brothers, Sean and Jason Rader, all of Ohio; two uncles, Jim Rosenberg with his wife Jodel of Jefferson City, and Joe Rosenberg of Jefferson City; one aunt, Marlene Fuerst of Jefferson City; one niece, Arianna Veltrop; one nephew, Kaiden Boehm; and several other nieces and nephews. Rebecca was preceded in death by two grandparents, Alma Gilpin and Joe Rosenberg. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2011, at Weber Funeral Home in Russellville. Memorial services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Jay Rosenberg officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Samantha Murray Educational Fund, in care of Weber Funeral Home, 13415 Rt. C. Russellville, MO 65074.
