Irene Theresa Kuebler

Irene Theresa Kuebler, 93, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born on November 29, 1917, in Rogers, Minn., the daughter of the late Joseph Martin and Josephine Mary Hentges Distler. She was united in marriage on April 26, 1941, in Jefferson City, to Leo Boniface Kuebler, who preceded her in death on July 7, 1967. A homemaker all her life, she was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and most especially her grandchildren. Survivors include: four children: Pat (Albert "A.J.") Heimericks, Centertown; Ken (Donna) Kuebler, Jefferson City; Carol (Roger) Zink, Lohman; Wayne (Susan) Kuebler, Jefferson City; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother: Clem (Rose) Distler, Jefferson City; and three in-laws: Charlene Distler, Jefferson City; Agnes Distler, Jefferson City; and Emil Schwartz, Westphalia. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Colletta Rademan, Rosemary Schwartz, Mildred Wankum, Bernadine Poetker; and two brothers, Anthony Distler and Cletus Distler. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Monday, May 16, 2011, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, with the Rev. Benjamin Nwosu officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m., Sunday, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Cathedral of St. Joseph Building Fund, 2305 W.
