Tillie Hackmann

Tillie Belle Party Reynolds Hackmann, age 95, formerly of Morrison, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at the New Florence Nursing and Care Center in New Florence. Tillie was born October 9, 1915, in rural Potts, a daughter to the late Charles Edward and Rachel (Kemple) Party. Tillie lived all of her adult life in the Chamois/Morrison area. She was a homemaker and enjoyed making all kinds of crafts. On April 11, 1934, Tillie was united in marriage to Hugh Edward Reynolds in Jefferson City and of this marriage one son, Vernon David Reynolds, was born on September 14, 1939. Mr. Reynolds preceded her in death in 1966. On April 20, 1968, Tillie married Harvey Hackmann. They lived in Morrison until his death on May 19, 2007. Tillie is survived by her son Vernon and his wife Goldie Reynolds of High Hill; five step- children, Dennis and his wife Gayle Hackmann of Morrison, Doris Rost and her husband Pat of Morrison, Douglas and his wife Karen Hackmann of Columbia, Deborrah Hackmann of Columbia and Donald Hackmann of Tulsa, Okla.; 11 grandchildren, James and his wife Susan Reynolds of Columbia, Beverly Dicus and her husband Scott of Warrenton, Sharyn Lemmons and her husband Eric of St. Charles, Gina Genenbacher and her husband Russ of Fowler, Ill., Gary and his wife Ashley Hackmann of Quincy, Ill., Lucas and his wife Jaime Hackmann of Topeka, Kan., Pam Hackmann of Charleston, Tom Rost of Morrison, Joe Rost of Morrison, Christine Koenigsfeld and her husband Travis of Frankenstein and Stephanie Arens and her husband Brandon of Columbia; 11 great-grandchildren, Jordan and Emily Reynolds of Columbia, Jessica Vandeford of Warrenton, Audrey Lemmons of St. Charles, Brett and Blair Genenbacher of Fowler, Ill., Tyler and Caleb Koenigsfeld of Frankenstein and Kaylee, Andon and Abigail Arens of Columbia; two brothers, Elmer Ray and his wife June Party of Belle and James Augustave "Gus" and his wife Velda Party of Linn. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and her husbands, Tillie was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Morton Chapel in Chamois. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Friday May 13, 2011, at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Chamois with Fr. David Means as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Baileys Creek Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Baileys Creek Cemetery and left in care of Morton Chapel
