John Guy Anderson, 66, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011, at his residence. He was born August 11, 1944, in California, the son of Edward Louis Anderson and Geneva Nadine (Harmon) Anderson, whom preceded him in death. He graduated from California High School. John worked for Missouri Power and Light and retired from Ameren UE after 34 years of service. He was in the National Guard 35th Support Group and a member of Roscoe Enloe American Legion Post 5 in Centertown. He is survived by one son, Edward Anderson (Lisa) of Centertown; one daughter, Dana Bax (Kevin) of Russellville; one brother, Mike Anderson (Janet) of Centertown; two grandchildren, Cierra and Coy Bond; longtime special friend, Rita Bonnot and her daughters, Jean Lambirth (Jim), Carol Schaefer (Ralph), Joan Schaefer (Richard), DeAnne Rickabaugh (Tim), and Judy Bonnot; grandchildren, Wesley Lambirth, Katy Lambirth, Bradley Wilson (Jennifer), Lauren Wilson, Jennifer Cross (Jared), Justin Schaefer, Holly Schaefer, Laura Schaefer, Andy Garza, and Melanie Garza; and great-grandchildren, Gavin and Dallas Wilson. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home. Officiating will be Jack Bowlin. Burial with military honors will be in the Centertown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Make A Wish Foundation, c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S.
