Clark White

Clark A. White, 62, of Owensville, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, Creve Coeur. He was born May 3, 1948, in Sullivan to William E. and Elsie Ruth (Glazner) White. On August 14, 1992, he was united in marriage with Sherri Pohlmann at the First Baptist Church, Owensville. This union was blessed with two daughters. Clark received his education in the Sullivan Public School system. He was employed for several years with Mid-Missouri Graphics of Owensville and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Owensville. Clark was a great lover of the outdoors, fishing, golfing, hiking, camping, and float trips, especially in the company of his family. His greatest joy was being with his family, rarely missing Whitney and Addison's games. Survivors include his beloved wife, Sherri (Pohlmann) White of Owensville; two daughters, Whitney and Addison White, both of the home; one son, Bryan White of Springfield, Mo.; one brother, Bill (Alberta) White of Washington; two sisters-in-law, Cathy (Jim) Sullivan of Owensville and Marilyn J. (DeWarren) Fountain of Jefferson City; one aunt, Irene Todd of Mulberry, Fla.; one uncle, Paul (Pat) Ritchie of Columbia; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, William E. and E. Ruth (Glazner) White and his parents-in-law, Fred E. and Mildred W. (Golden) Pohlmann Jr. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at the First Baptist Church of Owensville, the Reverend Ken Mathes officiating. Interment was in the Zoar Woolam Methodist Cemetery, Owensville. The White family was served by the Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
