Kenneth Edward Eichholz, 48, of Westphalia, died Friday, March 18, 2011, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in St. Elizabeth. He was born on October 9, 1962, in Jefferson City, the son of Charles Chris and Leona Margarite Lepper Eichholz. His parents survive in Westphalia. Kenneth was serving with the Missouri National Guard as a Sergeant First Class with Company B stationed in Fulton, Missouri. Kenneth had served in Iraq. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia. Kenneth loved to fish, hunt, and be in the outdoors. Other survivors include: three children, Amber Eichholz, Wardsville; Cheyenne Eichholz, of the home; Hunter Eichholz, of the home; six siblings, Diane (Jerry) Jaegers, Bonnots Mill; Brenda (Rod) Thompson, Bland; Lisa (Brian) Wiler, New Bloomfield; Michael (Brenda) Eichholz, Loose Creek; Dennis (Patricia) Eichholz, Holts Summit; Charlotte (Lindy) Grothoff, Bonnots Mill; numerous nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant sister. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia, with the Rev. Mark S. Smith officiating. Burial with military honors will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the church with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Kenneth Eichholz Children's Education Fund.
