Richard "Rickey" C. Williams, 59, of Holts Summit, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011, at his home. He was born December 20, 1951, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a son of the late Elmer and Gloria (Williams) Galbreath and Homer and Marion Richmond. He was a 1968 graduate of Lincoln Laboratory High School, and went on to earn a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelors degree in Guidance Counseling, and a Masters degree in Education from Lincoln University in Jefferson City. On November 7, 1975, Rickey was united in marriage in Fulton, Missouri, to Deloise Brown, who survives at their home. Rickey worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor at Fulton State Hospital in Fulton, Mo., a Risk Counselor at Smithton Middle School in Columbia, Mo., and also volunteered at Preferred Family Health. He was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served from 1977 until 1991. Rickey was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and the Cole County Sheriff's Association. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Along with his wife Deloise, Rickey is also survived by five children: Richard C. Williams Jr. (wife Minerva) of Tucson, Ariz.; Sonia Puentes of Killeen, Texas; Angela Williams-Crane (husband Scott) of Jefferson City, Mo.; Michael Williams (wife Emily) of Holts Summit, Mo.; LaToya Williams (fiancÈe Cory) of Jefferson City, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and 18 siblings: Rhonda Enzinna (husband Tom) of Kansas City, Mo.; Dennis Galbreath (wife Caroline) of Kansas City, Mo.; Janet Khaleel (husband Mohammed) of Jefferson City, Mo.; Karen Turner (husband Sam) of Jefferson City, Mo.; Patsy Johnson (husband Richard) of Jefferson City, Mo.; Howard Galbreath of Broken Arrow, Okla.; Sandy Hamilton (husband Carlos) of Ft. Hood, Texas; Marilynn Galbreath of North Carolina; Kelly Galbreath (wife Cassandra) of St. Louis; Elmer Galbreath Jr. of Jefferson City, Mo.; Debbie Galbreath of Jefferson City; John Richmond of Compton, Calif.; LaRhonda Politte of Compton, Calif.; Veltina Mango (husband Marc) of Bellflower, Calif.; Del Fonta Richmond of Phoenix, Ariz.; Rachelle Ferguson of Hawthorne, Calif.; Charles Galbreath (wife Anna) of Fulton, Mo.; Marshawn Richmond of Compton, Calif. and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother: Gloria Jean (Williams) Galbreath; his father: Homer Richmond; his father who raised him: Elmer Galbreath Sr.; his brother: Stephen Galbreath and granddaughter Alana Williams-Bastien. Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2011, at the Second Baptist Church in Jefferson City, with Dr. Cornell C. Sudduth Sr. officiating.
