Dianna Kay Reed, 65, of Chamois, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born November 30, 1945, in East St. Louis, Ill., the daughter of Clarence and Lueena F. Foster Stahlheber. She was a graduate of the Dupo Community High School in Dupo, Ill. She owned and operated Whistle Stop CafÈ in Chamois, Effervescence Gift Shop in St. Louis and Twenty Buckets Ice Cream Parlor in Cahokia, Ill. Dianna enjoyed playing bingo, singing, was crafty at weaving on a loom, pottery, ceramics and painting. She is survived by her two sons, Dan Reed of Jefferson City and David Reed of Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by an infant son, her parents and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2011, at the Meyer-Hilke-Millard Funeral Home. Private family interment will be held in the Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville, Ill. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Missouri Kidney Foundation.
