Larry Arnsmyer

Larry Edward Arnsmyer, age 69, of Hartsburg, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011, at Boone Hospital in Columbia. He was born December 28, 1941, in Hartsburg, the son of Frederick "Fritz" and Opal Freda Arnsmeyer. He married Shirley Shaw on January 23, 1965, in California, and she survives at her home. Larry worked for Fabick as a truck driver until his retirement in 2007. He was a member of Peace United Church of Christ and of the Hartsburg Lions Club. Survivors include: his son, Charles David Arnsmeyer and Kim of North Bridge, Minn.; three daughters, Debra Joyce Maue and Doug of Fulton, Sabra Gay Daly and Jamie of Rocheport, and Ambra Suzanne Richardson and Rick of Hartsburg; seven grandchildren, Ashlee and Tyler Daly, Brittney and Jacob Maue, Haleigh Arnsmeyer, Julia and Rusty Richardson; one sister, Joyce Gillespie and Vic; one nephew, Darrin Cramer; and one niece, Kelly Cramer, all of Fulton. Services will be held at Peace United Church of Christ in Hartsburg on Friday, June 10, 2011, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Frieden's Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 9, from 4-6 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home in Ashland. Memorial contributions are suggested to Frieden's Cemetery.
