Mr. Randy M. Scheulen, age 48 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the Capital Region Medical Center. Randy was born December 8, 1962, in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of James M. and Beverly Brewster Scheulen. He was married on February 24, 1990, in Jefferson City, Mo. to Wendy Palmer. They have remained friends throughout the years. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Randy graduated from Cole County R-V High School in Eugene, Mo. He was baptized in the faith of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, currently the Community of Christ Church. Randy was employed with the Scheulen family auto parts business, Capital Auto Parts in Jefferson City for 23 years. Currently, he was employed as a salesman with Jefferson City Auto Supply. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle going on bike trips with his many friends. Randy enjoyed Nascar and St. Louis Cardinal Baseball. He also enjoyed the friendship of all his good neighbors. Randy liked calling on his customers and visiting with them on a day to day basis. They were more than customers, they were friends. Survivors include: his mother, Beverly Scheulen of Jefferson City, Mo.; three brothers, James Michael Scheulen of Jefferson City, Mo., Daniel L. Scheulen of Jefferson City, Mo., and David Brewster Scheulen and Connie Joseph of Jefferson City, Mo.; aunt, Lorna Wyss of Jefferson City, Mo.; uncle, Dudley Brewster of Venice, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, James M. Scheulen; his paternal grandparents, Monroe and Lorene Scheulen; and his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Daisy Brewster. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2011, in the Freeman Chapel with Bryan Huffendick officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at Riverview Cemetery.
