Carol Quinn

Carol Anne Quinn, 72, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born December 22, 1938, in Iowa, the daughter of the late Wilbur and Mary Griffith Symmonds. Carol was a graduate of School of the Osage in Osage Beach and retired as a librarian from Wolfner Library for the Blind. She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching T.V. especially Cardinal Baseball. She also loved animals. She is survived by one son: Tracy Quinn and wife Donna of Jefferson City. Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2011, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private for the family at Lake Memorial Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Wolfner Library for the Blind or the Jefferson City Animal Shelter.
