Ernestine Wilbers

Mrs. Ernestine Wilbers, age 83 years, of Rocky Mount, Mo., passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011, peacefully at the Jefferson City Manor Care Center. Ernestine was born on November 19, 1927, in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Adie and Mildred Boone Estes. She was married on January 27, 1973, in Jefferson City, Mo., to Frank F. "Butch" Wilbers, who preceded her in death on August 10, 2007. Ernestine and Butch owned and operated Capital City Window Cleaning Company. In her leisure time, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family, fishing and boating on the Lake of the Ozarks. Survivors include: her daughter, Diana (Marv) Pilgrim of Bluffton, S.C.; two sons, Nobert Hohm II and Michael (Crystal) Hohm of Jefferson City, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Todd Rustman, Chris Rustman, Zachary Fletcher, Taylor Hohm, Ryan Hohm, Austin Hohm, Alyssa Hohm, and Blaze Hohm; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2011. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Freeman Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice Compassus or the American Lung Association.
