Kenneth C. Cramer

Kenneth C. Cramer, 78, of Chamois, Mo., passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. Mr. Cramer was born in Morrison, Mo., on June 10, 1933, the son of the late Charles and Matilda (Wenger) Cramer. Kenneth was a member of St. James United Church of Christ, Morrison, Mo., the Chamois Masonic Lodge for over 50 years, the Scottish Rite and Modern Woodman of America. He honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War and he was a farmer and spent his whole life farming the family farm. He is survived by a brother, Dale Cramer of Chamois; two sisters-in-law, Julia Cramer of Columbia and Pat Cramer of Jefferson City; a nephew, Keith Cramer and wife Elizabeth of Columbia; four nieces, Cindy Graves and husband Lynn of Jefferson City, Christine Keilholz of Columbia, Lisa Anthony and husband Brant of Jefferson City and Caroline Cramer of Washington D.C.; eight great-nieces and three great-great-nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Charles & Richard Cramer. Visitation will be today, Sunday, July 17, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. James United Church of Christ, Morrison, Mo. Funeral service will be held at St. James United Church of Christ, Morrison, Mo., at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 18, with Rev. Barbara Zastrow officiating. Burial will be at Good Hope Cemetery, Morrison, Mo., with full military honors. Memorials may be given to St. James U.C.C. C/O Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home.
