Molly Elizabeth (Humphreys) Crocker, 40, of Jefferson City, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, July 2, 2011. Molly was the beloved mother of Cory (22), Bastian (20), and Landon (10) and loving companion of Jim Sone. She will be forever missed by all who loved her. Molly was born April 12, 1971, in Trenton, Missouri, but had called Jefferson City her home since 1986. Molly was employed at Riley Chevrolet and was previously employed at Reagan Hyundai and the State of Missouri - Department of Revenue. She and Jim were best friends for the last five years and enjoyed playing golf and visiting with friends and family. Molly had a talented natural eye for interior and landscape design. She would successfully move her treasured plants from home to home, always increasing the plantings and sharing them with family and friends. Her home is warmly decorated with beloved antiques inside and beautiful planting outside. Her favorite pastimes were attending Cardinal games, camping, floating, spending time in the outdoors, and joining family vacations in Grand Marais, Minnesota. She found great joy and delight in her three sons and their activities, achievements, and best of all, their home time. Her spark and wit enlivened all gatherings and endeared her to everyone. Molly is survived by her three devoted sons: Cory Lee Crocker, Bastian Lee Crocker, and Landon Ray Maasen; as well as her parents: Max Humphreys and Georgia Ann Humphreys; her long-time companion: Jim Sone; her siblings: Stephen Joseph Humphreys, Jordan M. Humphreys along with his wife Jennifer Humphreys, their children: Zachary Samuel Humphreys and Amber Jewell-Adele Humphreys; and her sister Susie A. Humphreys along with her partner Mary Woods. Her extended family includes her aunt Phyllis and uncle Sam Masters; cousins: Chad Masters (Joan) and Stacy McCrary (Michael) and their children of Columbia, and her uncle Richard Lowrey and companion Anne Neff of Houston, along with cousins Jackie Lowrey of Columbia and Jennifer Rash and family of St. Louis. She was a caring granddaughter of her grandmother Dorothy Lowrey who recently passed away. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, gifts or food, donations can be made to a college fund for her sons in memory of their mother. Donations for the college fund can be directed to Lynnette Busch or Eileen Richter at Central Motor Bank in Jefferson City, Missouri. Her family and Jim will host a casual memorial gathering of family and friends to celebrate Molly's life on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at the country home of her parents Max and Georgia in Ashland, Missouri, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. All friends and family of Molly are invited. For a map and directions, please visit the funeral home website. Funeral services will be held privately for the family. Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors, 2613 West Main Street; (573) 636-3838. Condolences may be left for the family online at millardfamilychapels.com
