Connye Tuttle

Connye J. Tuttle, 61, of California, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Riverdell Care Center. She was born on January 11, 1950 in California, the daughter of Benjamin and Florence (Meister) Inman, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married on October 25, 1969, to Paul Tuttle, who preceded her in death in March 1994. She was a graduate of California High School, Class of 1969. She worked as a medical tech at California Care Center, and previously worked at Nic-Nac, Capital Region Medical Center, Adams Street Nursing Home, and Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in California, and she enjoyed crocheting and the Afghans for Angels program. She was an avid gardener, and had an amazing way of treating the elderly. She is survived by one son, Glen Tuttle of California; one daughter, Renee Tuttle of Winchester, Tenn.; two sisters, Karen Hagemeyer of California and Jeryl Thomas of Henley; and one granddaughter, Jessica Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in California. Visitation will be held before the memorial service from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the church. Officiating will be Pastor Peter Kurowski. Inurnment will be in Moniteau Evangelical Advent Cemetery.
